Feijoada is a common designation given to dishes of Portuguese speaking countries like Portugal, Brazil, Angola, Mozambique and Macau. The feijoada consists of a stew of beans, usually with pork meat,  and almost always accompanied with rice. It is a dish from the North of Portugal, which today is one of the most typical dishes of Portuguese cuisine, with the versions to the transmontana, poveira, Portuguese, among others, and Brazil, with the so-called Brazilian feijoada, made with black beans and variety of pork meat, sausages and salty/dry red meat.
